Brilliant CD player I bought for the inbuilt DAC. Testing it now with different Amps. BUT the buttons are not back lit which make it difficult to see and the button lay-out is non standard. But for the price great. Really small device!

Has a great DAC built in so it sounds awesome for the price either via the digital out or via the headphone jack

Cheapaudioman sent me here. I have been looking for a REAL CD player for a decent price for a long time. I just wanted a quality player for revisiting my collection occasionally . Based on my research it has a quality DAC and sounds fantastic. I am by no means a audiophile ( thats a lot of money ) but I have a good ear for quality sound.Pros - its a solid piece, has weight for its size. Doesnt FEEL cheap- great sound quality and great price- multiple outputs- small size, quiet operation- it DOES support gapless playback...but in a weird way. If you want gaplass you cannot skip or rev / ff within thattrack. If you pop the CD in and let it play, then it will play gapless. Theres a you tube video out there thatdemonstrates this. This isnt a deal breaker because I literally do not have any CDs that I would play all the waythrough, theres always a bad track on any album to me. Even my favorite artists have them.- looks MUCH better in person. The black/grey blends in well with my system.Cons - remote feels cheap and range isnt very good- FF / REV tracking is a bit slow not very precise. MY old 90s Sony CDR carousel was more accurate when tryingto find a part of a song.

It’s not the best looking but it works like one of the better ones. Definitely great value. Excellent when I paired it with a DAC.

Muy bien empaquetado y recibido con bastante antelacion a la fecha prevista. Muy buena calidad de sonido y terminacion . Con mando a distancia, peso considerable para su tamaño. Rapidez de lectura ( creo que tiene un mecanismo Philips), para mi opinion calidez del DAC. Sencillez en el manejo aunque no son muy visibles las teclas fisicas del aparato. En cuanto a la estetica ....el frontal deberia de ser tambien en negro con teclas blancas y tendria que tener las medidas de ancho del amplificador a juego de la misma marca PR40 ( muy buen producto).

Quality ! Nice build, clearest display i've ever seen ( test many CD / DVD / BD players & brands. Quick response and great sound. For US customers @ $ 100 approx, this is great purchase. I use mostly Coax connection. Nice little remote. A silent running. REF; headphones since connection in the back a small extension will give a frontal connection plugin option. Headphones has a separate volume which doesnt interfere with your main speaker o/p, both can be used simultaneously. Another great sound. Happiness purchase Level = Hi.
