I was inspired by a YouTube video showing similar board and thought this would be very useful for kids when doing their home work, so bought this one.Well constructed board and can sustain light cutting which does not leave noticeable marks, or if you don't mind, you can cut very hard on top and won't penetrate this board but does leave a mark.The measurements are also very useful, meaning for a quick measure, kids don't need to look for the ruler.The best thing, in my opinion, is that this board naturally defines an area where homework is to be done and kids do use the space more often than before when they just picked whatever surface/floor to do their work.Also this looks very nice, just about the right size for us, and not expensive so in case it breaks in the future, we can replace it. But I doubt I'd happen in a couple of years.Happy purchase.
