The title from me is exactly what it means.For roughly about four years now I was looking through and constantly trying to find a proper seat cushion, for the same reason I feel like a lot of people do. Much like a mattress topper, everyone prefers a different type of firm or soft seating. Typically in the office chair world for my many years, the default seating is too firm or in most cases, the cushion is so cheap you feel like you're sitting on the metal frame itself.I do need to give a discrepancy for this particular cushion though. Even though it does read "Oversized" don't let that fool you. My first picture is for a heavyweight chair with a wider seating arrangement. Despite how it looks DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID and use this cushion with wide seated chairs. Why? Well with the extra room you can easily assume that it was made for this chair like I did, but look closer. I had my blood circulation to my legs cut off multiple times due to it not lining at the edge properly, forcing your leg to more or less, prematurely press against the sides cutting off circulation depending on your height (for me upper thighs), down to my feet. Leading to some painful wake up calls for how long I was sitting.Now, with the health and safety warning out of the way and putting the cushion on a new Office Chair for my bedroom that I moved into. This is one of the best cushions I have ever used in terms of quality. It is as advertised, which is being all memory Foam and no gel like plenty of other ones in the past that I have used. I was lead to believe for my weight and height that wouldn't make a difference, but in reality it did.The chair in the second image. Is great, but the bare cushion is as hard as you can get. You know the ones. Where if it doesn't have that webbing design and has pure fabric, but the moment you sit down on it, that it just sinks all the way to the bottom like it never existed? This cushion...as someone who alas has re-occurring (Semi-Health Problem incoming) Hemorrhoids from various office work cause of prolonged sitting in very hard or uncomfortable chairs. This ended up helping with that as well. It strikes the perfect balance of what sitting in an expensive executive chair is suppose to feel like. Perfectly balanced, with a mix of softness so your butt doesn't hurt when you get up from prolonged office hours.The straps are also a nice edition and to me should be a requirement for most Seat Cushions. It guarantees that this not only won't fall off your chair, but also won't misalign so you're sitting awkwardly. In some cases as well, flop or jump on to your chair to make sure it doesn't move.I have no genuine complaints about this Cushion. It's everything I feel people are looking for when they're spending at around this price point if not a bit higher, except I can say with confidence if I do have to get a second one in the future for whatever reason. I am personally more than willing to pay this 40$ price tag for this quality again in the future for how much this does genuinely help with prolonged sitting.

I like it. It's different and very high but very comfortable and big enough to almost cover all my chair. Happy with this :)

I ordered this SNUGL Coccyx Cushion | Thick Memory Foam Seat Cushion for Office, Car, Wheelchair & Gaming memory foam cushion to use in my home office and around our house.I have a pretty messed up spine; I’ve broken my neck twice and had emergency fusions, plus I have spinal stenosis and degenerative disc disease. I’m lucky to be able to work at home; I’m pretty familiar with various methods of palliative care. Some days I can sit at my desk; some days I have to work lying down in bed. I wanted to try this thick memory foam cushion to see if it would make it easier to sit for long periods at my desk.I actually have two “home offices”, plus my bed, on days I don’t have the range of movement to get up and down the stairs. It’s about time for me to pack up my “outdoor offices” on our patio; closed until spring and warm weather. So I wanted to see if this memory foam cushion would work in my “indoor office”; a corner of the hallway in our English basement.Instead of a regular office chair, I use a high-backed gaming chair at my desk. The straps on the memory foam cushion are made for a standard office chair; when using the cushion on my gaming chair, I tucked the straps under the cushion instead of fastening them to/around the chair. Honestly, I didn’t see much of a difference between using the memory foam cushion on my high-backed gaming chair and using it upstairs in our dining room on a standard desk chair. It didn’t make a real difference in terms of comfort whether the cushion was strapped to the chair or just resting on it; either way, I found the memory foam comfortable and supportive.The only real difference I noticed regarding fastening the cushion to the chair with the webbed straps was that is was very easy to click the plastic tabs in place and secure the cushion when using a standard mesh office chair with openings between the seat and the back. The high backed leather gaming chair was one solid piece; it was easier to just leave the straps unbuckled, or even to toss them under the cushion.The memory foam cushion is about 3 1/2” thick; it has a zippered cover that is soft and super plushy that can be removed and is machine washable. Whenever I sit on the cushion, it is thick and supportive; it quickly seems to mold itself to me. There is an opening at the back of the foam cushion that is intended to help support the tailbone. I found the thick foam extremely comfortable; I ordered the larger size cushion (oversized) and found both my upstairs and downstairs desk chairs more comfortable when using the memory foam cushion.I’m pretty short (5’ 2”) and I found this oversized cushion very comfortable when using it in the passenger seat of our SUV. One thing I noticed whenever I used the cushion (desk chairs or car seat) was that the foam took a while to mold to me when I sat down; it took a little longer to spring back into shape after I got up. To me, that seemed a good visual illustration of how the memory foam actually worked; it takes a few moments, but it did align to my use.I was curious if the memory foam would acclimate to a single user; earlier this year, I got my husband a completely different type of desk chair cushion that he loves, but which is definitely broken in to his size and height. I had both my husband (about 5’ 10” and 166 pounds) and my teenage son (about 6’ and 200 pounds) both try out my memory foam cushion.They tested it on the upstairs desk chair, a traditional mesh office chair. The memory foam cushion was attached to the chair with the mesh straps and plastic clips. Each of them tried the cushion when it was fully “recovered” from my using it: the mesh had rebounded to its original height.All three of us found the memory foam cushion very comfortable for sitting; no one felt the cushion had molded itself to a single user. (By way of comparison, at one point my husband and son wore the same size Crocs; they could tell the minute they put them on if they were the “wrong” pair because the insoles had molded to their own feet.). The memory foam springs back in moments, even if the previous user has spent hours in the chair.The black cushion cover is soft, black, and velvety; it has the name SNUGL embroidered under a company logo. The fabric is super soft to touch; the underside of the cushion is more rubbery and is designed to stay in place. It takes a little bit of tugging to get the cover back on after it has gone through the washer and dryer, but it’s not too difficult.I like how portable the seat cushion is; even though it is large, it is fairly easy to carry. I can only speak to my own experience, but this thick memory foam cushion is very soft, sturdy, and comfortable. It allowed me to sit for a longer period of time with less discomfort.Both my son and husband also gave positive reviews to this cushion, too; my son sat through a long movie and said the cushion was still comfortably supportive at the end. Of course, these are our own personal experiences; always consult your doctor before making any changes, and listen to your own body.I loved the thick memory foam, the comfortable support, and the velvety soft cushion cover. They may be a little warm in high summer, but right now (December)I love how cozy this feels. Easy to transport, easy to install, and comfortable for long spells in your desk chair.

I want to be clear that this is not an inferior product. It’s actually well-made and well thought out. So it’s important for me to explain my own physical conditions because they might contribute to why this was not the product for me. I have two artificial hips which is part of the reason why I wanted this item. I have a couch that is a little to soft and a gaming chair I I sit at When I use my computer and do paperwork and other things like that. I tried it at my dining room table, which is a wood chair, and it didn’t work at all. It was too big. The cushion works a lot better on the gaming chair.. When I use it on the couch, My legs dangle and I’m 5’9”. I have to say it say it stays place. There is a nice kind of rubberized textured bottom which makes it not move and Feel VERY stable which a very good feature. It tends to be a little hard which is Usually a good for me As I prefer a stiffer and not a softer area to sleep or sit. I’m sure if I used it for a longer period of time it would get loosened and compressed and eventually conform better to my body. It Hass to be at least 6 inches thick And that might be part of the problem for me. I feel like it hits my legs at a point where my implants end in my femurs and it’s that’s uncomfortable for me. I’m not usually aware of my hip replacements, but somehow I am because of where the cushion hits. I don’t think this will be a problem for most people. I especially think it would be a good item for a man. I somehow think it should’ve been advertise like that and there should be an alternate product. That’s a little bit thinner and smaller for a woman. It’s a quality product and very well-made. I thought about cutting off the bands that hold it very well in place because they’re not even really necessary because the cushion is so stable. In that respect and then all other respects it’s a very safe cushion. It Easily stays in place on any surface I’ve used it on. But it’s just a little thick for me and hits my legs in the wrong place. I am 165 pounds and a woman over 50 in pretty good shape for my age.If I were a 225 pound man it would be an absolutely perfect item. But For me I just think it will take too long to wear in it and I won’t be able to do it because it’s to uncomfortable for me to sit in it for long enough periods of time to wear it in. I hope this makes sense because on the one hand I am saying that I don’t like it but at the same time I’m saying it’s a quality product. Both are true. It’s just not the best product for a female under 200 pounds. So I thought about giving it three stars but then I gave it four stars even though it’s not a great product for me because I do think it would be a good product for someone else that was bigger. I think this is really made for men. I hope this review makes sense, If you are a heavier person, it will work well for you. It’s contoured it away that’s not too much not too little. I have all kinds of pillows for posture and moving my positions around because I think that’s important So I’m kind of in a good place to review with us. Because. I’ve seen and used a lot And many of them are really low quality. This is not low quality! I feel like I have to reiterate that. I hope this somehow helps even though it seems a little confusing to me when I read it!
