As an avid hiker and occasional night-time tinkerer, I've gone through my fair share of headlamps, and I can confidently say the Sofirn HS21 is a serious contender for the best value on the market right now. This thing packs a punch and offers features usually found on much more expensive models.What I love:* Versatile Lighting Options: The HS21 truly shines with its triple output – a powerful spot, a wide flood, and a useful red light. The ability to combine the spot and flood is a game-changer for walking trails at night, giving you both distance vision and good peripheral awareness. The red light is excellent for preserving night vision.* Intuitive Rotary Switch: This is a fantastic design choice. Switching between the different light modes (red, spot, flood, spot+flood) is incredibly smooth and easy, even with gloves on. No more fumbling with multiple buttons in the dark!* Excellent Brightness & Beam Quality: At 2200 lumens max, this headlamp is plenty bright for most outdoor activities. The spotlight has impressive throw (up to 230 meters), and the floodlight is wonderfully high CRI, which makes colors look natural – a huge plus for close-up work.* USB-C Rechargeable & Good Battery Life: The convenience of USB-C charging is a huge win. I can top it up with a power bank, my laptop, or a wall adapter. The battery life has been solid, easily lasting through my longer hikes. Plus, the option to swap out 21700 batteries means I can carry spares for extended trips.* Solid Build Quality: For the price, the machining is excellent. It feels robust and well-made, and the anodizing seems durable. The headband is also comfortable and secure, even for active use.* Gesture Sensor (A Neat Trick!): While not my primary way of controlling it, the infrared gesture sensor is a cool feature. A simple hand wave can change brightness or even turn the light on/off, which can be surprisingly handy when your hands are dirty or occupied. You can also disable it if you prefer not to use it.* Regulated Output: This is a big one for enthusiasts. The HS21 maintains a consistent brightness level as the battery drains, unlike many cheaper lights that dim significantly over time.Minor Quibbles (more like personal preferences):* No Glass Lens over TIR: The TIR optic is exposed, which means it could scratch if not handled carefully. Very good for the money had many head torches over the years and use them daily this is my second sofirn headtorch as previously had the hs20 and this is a good upgrade. For the money you can’t beat sofirn used to swear by olight torches andheadlamps (big collection 😂) which are more than double the price of these but definitely prefer sofirn now as the hi-cri floodlight in these are fantastic for car detailing or anything where you need to see colours how they should look and also lasts all day on medium (10hours) and super bright when it needs to be. For the money the quality is also great, look forward to trying out some off the sofirn torches in the future

Ein echter Geheimtipp unter den Stirnlampen , der Allrounder für jede SituationWer auf der Suche nach einer richtig guten Stirnlampe ist, sollte hier definitiv genauer hinschauen. Ich habe schon einige Modelle getestet, aber diese hier hat mich sofort begeistert, und das will was heißen.Heute geliefert, gleich ausprobiert (Geduld ist nicht meine Stärke) und was soll ich sagen? Diese Lampe ist einfach genial! Die technischen Daten spare ich mir, die stehen ja oben aber sie wirken auch absolut stimmig mit dem, was die Lampe leistet. Sofirn ist mir schon länger ein Begriff, habe mehrere Lampen dieser Marke und sie überzeugen immer wieder mit Qualität und Langlebigkeit.Diese Stirnlampe kommt mit 4 Lichtmodi. Der Spot-Modus liefert ein kaltweißes, fokussiertes Licht mit ordentlicher Reichweite. Im Flutmodus wird es um dich herum taghell, perfekt für handwerkliche Arbeiten oder Outdoor-Aktionen im Dunkeln. Der Rotlichtmodus ist ein echtes Plus für alle, die nachts ihre Nachtsicht nicht verlieren wollen. Und dann gibt's noch den letzten Modus: Spot mit Flut und das ist wirklich eine Lichtexplosion! Super für Lost Places Erkundungen oder Nachtfahrten mit dem Bike.Das Besondere: Jeder Modus hat mehrere Helligkeitsstufen und die Lampe merkt sich deine Einstellung. Kein nerviges Durchklicken mehr beim Einschalten. Einmal eingestellt, bleibt’s auch so einfach an, und du hast wieder dein bevorzugtes Licht.Der Bewegungssensor ist das Sahnehäubchen. Mit einer simplen Handbewegung kannst du das Licht dimmen, ideal, wenn die Hände schmutzig sind. Dass der Sensor bei jedem Neustart deaktiviert ist, finde ich sogar praktisch, er ist ein nützliches Extra, aber nicht ständig nötig.Fazit: Diese Stirnlampe ist mein bisheriger Favorit durchdacht, leistungsstark, flexibel.
