Soft Weight Ball Thera-Band geel (1 kg)

I use this ball daily to recover my hand muscles, and I feel improvements after the exercises. What I don’t like is the rustling of the filler inside—it would be better if it were more compact. Overall, it’s a great sports-medical tool for training.

I bought this brand because TheraBand is a well known & respected company & we have used other products from them with no complaints. They seem to be high quality & long lasting. I also noted that this was the brand that my husband's hand therapist uses. So I chose this brand. Later when I told her she said that it was a good choice as she has had her set of these balls from TheraBand for many, many years with no deterioration in any way and they're in use daily at her practice. This is good to know because when it hits the floor with a thud - it's comforting to know it's not going to split over time. It feels good in the hand as it seems well balanced & is comfortable to the touch.Before purchasing I did read reviews on less expensive soft weighted therapy balls but the quality seemed sketchy - especially where in one case the surface of the ball was tacky to the touch & actually left a permanent mark on a wooden dresser where it was placed .All in all, very pleased with my choice.
