Softie Elite 2

Very nice and small. It packs down really tight. Very light weight but yet durable. I will eventually buy a second one

I researched this bag extensively before taking the plunge. Little is written anywhere about it's actual size inside the bag. It packs down well at 1300g and 7" dia and 9" long inside the stuff sack. Out of the bag it is 220cm long and 87.5cm across the shoulders. I assume this is specced with the EPS baffle zipped closed. Once expanda panel is deployed open it gives an extra 8-10cm of shoulder width which tapers down to the foot box. There is plenty of space for me at 6' and 46" chest.On a comparison with previous bags, this is the same size as my 58 pattern long bag with the same room with the expanda panel zipped open. It is still bigger width wise than my late 90's softie 9 with the panel zipped closed.Materials look to be top notch with a strong stuffsack and reenforced foot box in the bag. The zips and toggle are hd spec compared to snugpaks softie red/black zips. feaures softie insulation, reflectatherm metalised foil, paratex micro outer advertised as windproof and water resistant and paratex light liningThe price sealed the deal for me as it was cheaper at the time than the elite 1 and 3. I wasn't prepared to spend nearly double for the special forces version with the centre zip.temps are 2c for comfort -3c for extreme. Which isn't bad for a light 2 season bag.I'll look out for deals on the rest of the range as these look to be well designed top quality kit.

ミリタリー系でキャンプ用品を揃えているのでカリンシアと迷いましたが、こちらに軍配が上がりました。バックパックキャンパーなのでコンパクトさが非常に重要な事と、何より拡張性があることが決め手になりました。ソフティーエリートは中の広さを拡張できるので普段使いも快適。そして冬になったら広がった空間にインナーシュラフを詰め込むことにより、４シーズン対応できる優れものです。エリート３だと自分の活動圏内だと過剰スペックになるので、エリート２＋同社のブランケットで対応します。４やら５の紹介動画だとネックウォーマーがついていたのですが、２にはついていないようです。まぁ…顔の部分は締まるので一応冬にも対応できますが、少々残念でした。あとジッパーに生地が噛むとレビューで散見されますが、確かに噛みますね。無理やりやらなければ噛まないので、落ち着いて戻してからもう一度ジッパーを動かしましょう。
