It’s very sturdy, all the parts were there, directions were okay but you need to look closely as it’s just pictures. We put this together in one evening in about 2-3 hours. Two people working together is a good idea. We have a hound dog that couldn’t keep her nose out of the litter box and made a crazy mess everywhere. She still tries to sneak in to this unit but her access is limited and so is the mess. I was a bit worried that the front door wouldn’t stay shut, but it latches well as long as you screw the magnet portion as close to the edge as you can. The cat used it right away and we’ve had no issues with her knowing where to go. I would have been happy with just the enclosed box rather than the shelves, as I’m not sure that our cat will use it but it looks pretty nice.We initially were going to try and build one similar to this but wouldn’t have the time and sick of the mess. I can assure you that unless you already had a lot of the materials you could not build it for the same price. We paid $180.

Good quality, great size, no more mess. my cats love it because it is their own personal space. easy to clean but a little harder to assemble because of the bad instructions. the instructions are very small and not really specified.

My cat adores the hammock, despite being a little on the large size for it (he’s not that big, maybe 7lbs). He can get up and down no problem, and a standard litter box did fit in the cabinet. The box and the cat together on the other hand, dicey. He won’t go in there, so we are still using the old litter box location. The shelves are quite slippery, so if you have an older cat you may need something for traction. If I had my time back I’d go with a regular cat tree, but it could be a good solution for someone with limited space since the food and water can go on the shelves (with something for traction, I had to add command strips under the water dish). A b@$&h to assemble. Took a good 2 hours. Very sturdy once together however.

There are a lot of parts and it is very intimidating but when you begin just follow the steps closely and it is.actually quite easy. I finished it alone. It is really nice and my cats took to it right away. not as tall or wide as i pictured but still good.

Very well made, relatively easy to assemble.
