I bought this so I no longer have to manually keep filling up the bird bath in my backyard. On hot days after 45 minutes to an hour the water gets hot fast and evaporates to a bone dry birdbath. I used to have to keep going out there every hour to refill it with the hose manually on hot days. Now, I have a small narrow hose barely visible and have it mounted to my birdbath. With a touch of a button on my smartphone, it activates the hose and slowly fills it up which takes about 5 minutes. The birds love taking showers under the rainbow water line shooting out of the narrow hose as it fills it. I can choose how long for it to stay on or just hit the button again to manually shut it off using local WiFi and bluetooth. I did NOT need to sign up for any cloud services which made me happy. I despise cloud services, Alexa or any voice commanding products. A remote with a button is good enough for me. I believe in good ole local WiFi from your product to the router and no third party could spy or take over your equipment which is why I return every product that forces me to use the cloud. This should be optional on all products but it's not with newer yard cameras which kinda scares me. Anyways the birds are always drinking and bathing in cold fresh water now and I don't have to go outside! Excellent product!

Pros: Doesn’t leak, easy to control with wifi, can manually use hose with the push of a button on the timer.Cons: none yet.This controller will be used while we are away to water garden and lawn while we are away. I’ve tested it now for about two weeks with no problems! I will store it inside during the cold months. Hopefully it will last many seasons. For 29 dollars, this was an excellent purchase.
