I have the copper coloured hummingbird light, and it has a lot of detail carved into the pattern. It seems well made with no sharp edges. It is lovely lit up at night whether it is hung up or sat on the floor. I really like it. Its current price it just under £10 and I think it is good value for money. It’s a lovely addition to the garden and I will be having a look at the other styles to purchase.

My first impression from receiving this product was the nondescript, very light weight box. It feels like there wasn't anything in it, but there was a relatively small solar lantern. The copper color and design are pleasing to look at and the light which turns on when it's dark casts a nice glow with a sitting cat and a cat with its arm outstretched. A nice gift for a cat lover. I do wish the light was a little brighter, and while the yellow gives it a warm appearance, it doesn't penetrate very far, so a brighter light would help with that while not overwhelming the darkness using a white light. I live in an area that can be windy, so it will be interesting to see how it fares being so unsubstantial. I have a feeling it will swing around like crazy. I guess I will need to anchor it to a tether securely and away from things it can smash itself against. They could've made the thing a little heavier so one can avoid it getting blown around too much by the wind. ng some stones or something to it. It's nice that the rechargeable battery in the unit is replaceable and that they use a standard rechargeable AA NiMH battery instead of needing us to buy something special and more expensive when the battery inevitably wears out. I need to figure out good places to hang these in which they get decent direct sunlight exposure during the day without needing to be in the middle of the yard as it says the unit should receive 6-8 hours of direct sunlight and my porch being north-facing doesn't get that. Other than the weight issue and lamp brightness, it is a relatively well made lantern that is a nice addition to any outdoor space.
