I got this to help with soldering down a replacement driver chip (SMD) inside an engine ECU. The original chip had a huge heatsink backing that made it difficult to remove, and there was no way I was going to be able to solder in the replacement chip successfully without good solder paste. This stuff worked, and so does the ECU now too.Recommended, but max 1-year shelf life (even in the refrigerator) cost it one star here.

Works great, even in my reflow oven. Good for about a year or so IF you keep it refrigerated between uses and let it come to room temp for about 3-4 hours before use.
