Solido Modelauto schaal 1:18 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA M

nice, heavy model, vivid colours!

This is my third Solido 1/18 and so far I've been impressed. What they lack in opening parts compared to other budget brands they make up for in exterior/interior detail resulting in a more realistic appearance.This is a very nice replica of the Giulia GTAM. There are a couple of minor flaws. The door fitment is a bit clumsy with noticeable panel gap on the leading edges. The interior is well done but the seats look like someone has just pulled up a couple of chairs at a kitchen table. However, these don't distract too much while on display.The good points are a realistic appearance that looks very convincing on display. This is helped with a full set of well detailed lights, a detailed interior with body coloured roll cage and a labelled fire extinguisher, correctly sized wheels and brakes compared to the Bburago version, proper separate door handles and tow hooks, a full set of windows and a decent paint job in a striking colour.I got this for £40 as a used return. The packaging was described as damaged which it was slightly but this probably wasn't helped by it arriving from Germany in the usual paper bag packaging. Thankfully the car was undamaged and was complete with it's separate wing mirrors. I also got the Bburago version to compare but despite an opening bonnet and boot it's inferior in quality to this one. Look at these Solido's as heavy metal sealed display models with the added bonus of opening doors and you won't be disappointed.

Habe den Wagen als Geschenk gekauft und sah ihn mir auch nach dem auspacken an. Ist ein sehr schönes Modell. Metallkarosserie. Keine Fehler. Detailreich. Tadellos. Das Lenkrad dreht sich sogar mit, wenn man die Räder einschlägt. Dachte nicht, dass sowas heute noch hergestellt wird bei der ganzen Plastikindustrie.
