- Este disco son un conjunto de canciones tocadas casi todas al piano y que carecen de un estribillo pegadizo o contundente, no son malas pero aburren. Lo bueno de este cd doble es que uno de los cd es en directo y trae las canciones de siempre de los 80-- These are a group of songs played mostly to the piano and without a strong or cacthy chorus, they aren't bad but they sound heavy, boring. The silver lining of this double CD is that it contains a live CD with all the famous songs from the 80¡s

Ein Klasse-Album, das hauptsächlich von Kingsbery`s Songwriting und von seiner Stimme getragen wird!Aber allein diese beiden Dinge halten es ganz hoch...Das einzige andere Album von ihm, das ich so phantastisch fand, war das 1995er "Once in a Million"-Album!Für Kingsbery-Fans: Dringend anhören!Wer hier 80er-Jahre Cock Robin - Musik sucht, für den ist wohl allerdings nur die Live-Compilation zu gebrauchen,die ich höchstens als Gimmick empfinden kann!Nicht falsch verstehen: Ich habe die 80er Cock Robin geliebt, vor allem das kommerziell eher erfolglose "first love, last rites"-album,aber das hier ist doch sehr anders (und ich find`s besser ;)) - was natürlich Geschmackssache ist! Bloß die beiden Rezensenten hier, die erwarten,dass sich eine Band nach 25 Jahren nicht ein wenig entwickelt, kann ich nicht verstehen...

Terrific double album from this cult band.American singer/songwriter/instrumentalist Peter Kingsbery and Anna Lacazio back on the road again.The band had a huge success in the 80s in France/Germany and the Netherlands and reformed in 2006. They are now touring again in Europe.This new album is as good as anything they have done with standout tracks Grand and Ligne de Chance.The second c.d. is a collection of their old hits, such as When Your Heart is Weak, The Promise You Made and Because It Keeps on Working. I only recently discovered them and they knocked me out. The Best Kept Secret in pop/rock.

CRAZY GOOD !!

Ottimo cd doppio, bella confezione. Un disco che non avevo mai ascoltato, che riprende in pieno e conferma il loro taglio musicale.Il disco, del 2010, mostra che stile e buon gusto non hanno età. Un bel regalo per chi già li conosceva ma non ha mai avuto l'occasione di apprezzare questo loro ultimo lavoro.
