Alleen deze module werkt redelijk, omdat de module aangesloten zit op fase en nul en dus fungeert als mesh functie. Signaal is redelijk ok en verstrekt andere Zigbee modules die in de buurt zitten. Modules die alleen een fase aansluiting hebben, hebben zeer slecht signaal als ze te ver van de Zigbee hub zitten. Na twee meter is het signaal al zeer slecht. Sonoff zegt om meer van dit soort modules te kopen om het signaal beter te krijgen. Dus de keus is aan jezelf om het op een dure manier op te lossen bij een zwak signaal van schakelaar modules en het te versterker door mesh modules die in de buurt geplaatst worden.

Ik had 2 Hue lampen en een aantal gewone Philips spots in de tuin die ik gelijktijdig aan en uit wilde laten gaan. Met deze Sonoff Zigbee schakelaar werkt het prima.Aansluitingen zijn wel miniem. Het was ff prutsen om de draden in de aansluitingen te krijgen.

Good cheap relays, zigbee2mqtt supports them. But they are not working as zigbee routers. Did not have problems with them so far.

I purchased this product during the Black Friday sale because a review mentioned it would work with my Zigbee gateway. Unfortunately, it turned out to be completely useless.Setting it up was a nightmare, and in the end, it didn’t even work. The first red flag should have been when the app insisted on connecting to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, explicitly stating it’s incompatible with 5GHz. Seriously, it’s almost 2025! Even devices I bought in 2015 can handle 5GHz networks without a problem.Adding insult to injury, the app collects an excessive amount of personal information. It requires registration, demands precise location access, and insists on connecting to every possible service. It feels more invasive than necessary for a smart device.Bottom line: Don’t waste your time or money on this system. It’s outdated, frustrating to use, and overly intrusive.

These are the cheapest Zigbee switches you'll get in India. Using them with my Sonoff Zigbee Plus Dongle and a very old i3 Home Assistant server to mainly act as a router to other Sonff sensors.

✂️ Edit: The devices sometimes become unstable. I have had two of these four that needed either re-pairing or disconnecting from the mains supply and reconnecting. This can be very inconvenient as one device was under some boards in a loft and the other was inside a light fixture. I am dropping one star as a result of my experience with long-term use.First impression:👀 These are really small, with a row of connectors, for live in/out, neutral, and the two for the switched connections in a different colour. There is a pairing LED and a re-pairing button, although I have never had to use it. I used to create custom circuitry for my own home automations in the early 1990s and it’s a real boon to get something like this in such a small package that just works without all the pain of creating your own circuit boards etc.Installation and use:🔧 One of these was being installed on a landing light that was always being left switched on in the night. I was fighting a losing battle so I thought I would let Home Automation take control.🔧 For this installation you really need to know what you are doing. I changed the 2-way switch wiring to be unpowered and installed it above the ceiling rose in the loft. In that location it needs an enclosure in the loft for UK regulations, but a cheap 100mm JB secured to a joist will do the trick. Use a qualified electrician if in any doubt.🔧 This control paired quickly with Home Assistant using ZHA protocol and I could then rename the device as the Landing Light. In use, there is a tiny delay, maybe a 10th of a second, between switching on and the light activating – which is acceptable. This device also acts as a Zigbee router to extend the hub network and the range seems very good through plaster walls. This does require a negative lead and in most modern houses this is at the ceiling rose and not the light switch. The device works in 'manual mode' so if your Home Automation hub is down for any reason then your lights still work as normal.🔧 I installed a second one in a shoe cupboard where the light was left on by the family whilst we were on holiday. Installation was similar to the previous one and took about 30 minutes, but then again this is my sixth now. The control was left inside the cavity wall with the control wires I made going through a grommeted hole and wiring to the switch and the mains inside the switch pattress. Again, no problems with signal propagation through the wall.🔧 A third went to control the hall light. The only challenge was that this is above a ceiling rose and obtaining a space to house the unit was quite difficult. I managed to squeeze it between the plaster and the wooden joist holding the light fitting and the floor above. The lesson here is to check the installation possibilities before you get carried away like I did. I got it installed in the end.Pros:✔️ Endless possibilities, especially if you like to tinker with home automations.✔️ Easy to use if you have the experience.✔️ Pairs quickly and reliably in Home Assistant – my automation software of choice running on a Raspberry PI 4.Cons:❌ You need electrical experience.Conclusion:✅ I wrote HA automations for these light controllers. The landing and hall lights are part of a complicated one called ‘holiday mode’ that simulates evening activity with people moving about the house after dark. The cupboard light, I simply set the automation in the hub to detect the light going on and switch it off after 5 minutes. Just an illustration of the possibilities once you have these installed. The devices relay their status to the hub, and have not let me down. I now have 6 of these and will get more as application occurs. Recommended.

Hier hat Sonoff ein top Produkt auf den Markt gebracht. Es gibt grundsätzlich drei Funktionen:1. Verbraucher schalten2. Schalterzustand auslesen3. Mesh Reichweite vergrößernIch habe mehrere dieser ZB Mini im Einsatz und sie laufen seit ca. vier Jahren problemlos.Wenn ich mir allerdings die 1 Sterne Bewertungen anschaue, dann kam ich nur sagen, lasst die Finger von Homeautomation und auf jeden Fall von Elektrik.Die ZB Mini sind Module, die nach dem Zigbee Protokoll arbeiten. Ja, sie funken ebenfalls wie WLAN auf 2,4 GHz, haben aber nichts mit WLAN zu tun. Darum bekommt ihr sie dort auch nicht angelernt. Auf 2,4 GHz festlegen ist Blödsinn, da es die Übertragung auf 5Ghz hier gar nicht gibt.Wer sich über die schlechte Übertragung beschwert, sollte sich mit einem WLAN Analysator die Nachbarschaft anschauen oder sein eigenes WLAN. Wenn mehrere WLAN mit ebenfalls 2,4Ghz funken, werden durch Interferenzen die Übertragung soweit gestört, dass die Reichweite stark herabgesetzt wird. Da hilft nur durch Testen den Kanal zu wechseln.Ich kann leider keine Aussagen über die Fehlerkorrektur im Zigbee Protokoll treffen, jedoch habe ich im WLAN durch Interferenzen mit 60% Wiederholung kein tolles Erlebnis mehr.Also nicht blind kaufen und einsetzen, sondern wissen was man tut.Auch die Aussage, wenn fälschlich Phase und Neutralleiter vertauscht werden, dass der ZB Mini abbrennt... Kann ich so nicht stehen lassen. Da sind andere Fehler gemacht worden. Ich kann ihn problemlos mit Stecker betreiben. Da habe ich auch keinen Einfluss auf die Polung. Was ja letztendlich auch egal ist. Die Unterscheidung beider Leiter ist nur das Bezugspotential.Nur zum Nachdenken, mit Multimeter gemessen bekomme ich die selben Werte angezeigt. Egal wie rum ich messe. Was anderes sieht der ZB Mini auch nicht.Wer sich mit dem Thema richtig befasst wird feststellen, dass der ZB Mini ein tolles Produkt ist.
