I have tried this one for the week I got it it.Compared to some other microphones it is very basic in fuctionality but doesn't requires extra wiring and set up since it speaks directly with the Sony Camera. And for its planned use, vlogging, it is pretty capable.Zoom vs Gun.The Zoom functionality to adjust to the lens zoom level is handy for instance. I am certain there are limits to how functional that one is but for most vlogging lenses [which are pretty wide] that is handy.Both functions, Zoom and Gun mode work just fine.In gun mode it just is point and listen.And the sound quality is good. Yes you can get better if you are willing to stunt with extra wires and setting things up. Or just put this one on and get good enough audio for most vlogging uses.Remember again, no wires, no setting up within the camera, automatic sets the volumes. And it is small.Just don't expect wonders of that it has perfect audio if you stand 15 feet away. It has its limits.

Ho comprato il microfono per avere un audio decente su una Sony @6000, principalmente brevi commenti da registrare in ambienti outdoor spesso ventosi, senza dover trafficare con radio microfoni o boom poles. Ho aggiunto una protezione antivento in pelo, e sono rimasto sorpreso in positivo. L'audio è più che accettabile, e l'AGC, che era la mia principale preoccupazione, sembra gestito dalla macchina in modo adeguato. Il livello è un po' alto, la macchina porta tutto quasi a 0db, i classici -12 sarebbero stati preferibili, ma è una soluzione che consente grande praticità quando serve un uso rapido, con una qualità complessiva accettabile.

Tyvärr märkte jag ingen skillnad med den på. Har Sony AX 53. Den fick bli returnerad.

I wanted this to replace a traditional shotgun mic since this pulls power and data right from the hot shoe but I could clearly still hear the focusing even with a silent motor lens since the mic has no shock absorbance.

Super micro. Acheté pour mon Sony ax53 il marche parfaitement. Le son est mieux isolé et de meilleure qualité (même si le son embarqué dans le ax53 est déjà très bon). Le fait de ne pas avoir de câble est un grand plus. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent.
