Seit ich mir das neue Tamron 70-180 mm gekauft habe, blieb mein erstes Vollformat-Objektiv (ein 24-70 v. samyang) immer öfter im Fotokoffer. Zu klobig, zu schwer, zu unscharf.Seit geraumer Zeit suchte ich Ersatz für meine anderen Festbrennweiten im Bereich 24 - 50 mm - nun bin ich fündig geworden.Das 24-50 bildet genau das ab, was ich in ca. 50% aller Fälle benötige. Knackig scharf, schneller und lautloser Autofokus - und - bezahlbar. Sieht so aus, als hätte ich mein neues „immer drauf“ Objektiv für meine Sony Alpha 7 IV gefunden. Das Tamron kommt auf die Alpha 7c - somit bin ich bei Fotoshootings für alle Eventualitäten gerüstet.

I’ve been using the Sony SEL2450G F2.8 Standard Zoom Lens for some time now, and it’s easily the best lens in its class!The compact design makes it perfect for travel or everyday shooting, and the build quality is top-notch, giving it a professional and durable feel. The autofocus is incredibly precise, ensuring sharp, beautiful results every time.One of the standout features for me is the way the lens extends at 24mm instead of retracting, as is common with other lenses. While it might seem unusual at first, it’s actually a much more practical design, especially since the 35-50mm range is so frequently used. This thoughtful detail shows Sony’s commitment to functionality and user experience.In short, this lens is an absolute gem! Compact, reliable, and with exceptional performance — it’s a must-have for any photographer. Highly recommended!

Must say this has to be the best compact lens out there if you’re not looking for something bulky to travel around with such as the gmaster lens 24-70mm, image/video quality is sharp and delivers smooth focus! Tested on Sony zve1!
