Ik gebruik deze brander (van een eerdere aankoop) al jaren als bij-brander naast mijn benzine branders. Eigenlijk is deze brander net zo heet of zelfs een fractie sneller. De 4 armige pannensteun is een stuk stabieler dan de (nog compactere) 3-punts steun. Mij verbaast het hoe weinig de brander last heeft van forse wind. Ik ben onder de indruk.De piezo ontsteking heeft het bij mij maar kort gedaan. Met een aansteker gaat het ook.

I was stuck between this one and the pocket rocket. I’m glad I went with this one. Boiled fast and super compact. No issues igniting the flame either.

Soto wind master has an elegant design and it is light. However, as a hiker, you pack your things as compact as possible. I had my previous lighter in the cooking pot along with the gas tube. Even if the cooking pot was wet i never had rust built up on my lighter. After the first use of Soto WM i placed it in my pot along with the gas tube as usual. But it built up rust. I did not expect this from premium produkt. But it is maybe because Soto is made out of steel and not aluminium. But it is something you need to think about. It is also unusual that you need to unsrew the vent almost full out in order to have gas to be released. So it is also something you need to be used to. It is also not that economical as i thought it would be. External foot that is attached to lighters is also not that smooth as you may think. The design is however simple and elegant. Soto WM is also very durable product which is felt directly. So the rust mentioned above is not something that a buyer should hold on to. You just need to think about this when packing.

Das Beste Gaskocher , was es gibt .Die Leistung ist unfassbar in die kälte mit Wind am Gipfel . unvergleichbar . Top, leicht , genung bereit , Stark und vor allem Wind geschutzt ,von meine Erfahrung : wenn man in die kälte an einem Gipfel kommt dass man schnell wie möglich was kochen will oder heiße kaffee oder tee machen will, dann ist das beste GASKOCHER
