I unfortunately lost my original mic filter and have been using my headset without one for a few months. According to my friends, it didn't affect my voice quality. However, the red light on the headset, when muted, was very bright without the filter to cover it.So that's where these came in. This mic filter is very thick when compared to the original, which was much more porous. The red light is completely covered and doesn't leak through like the original filter, which can be a good thing to avoid the light or a bad thing if you need the light to confirm you're muted. But you can just press the mute button again to unmute if necessary. It came in a pack of 4, which means I could have replacements for days, or just use it for other devices where the filter can fit. It has no change with the sound quality either, so it still allows sound to pass through.Overall, a great value replacement.

I got this to replace my Steelseeries mic cover which has disintegrated over the years. It fits ok and won't fall off so the rubber ring is not really necessary. Mostly similar to the original, at the base it's a standard foam cover and does the job well.

If you're looking to reduce the wind noise, these pop filters will do the trick. I bought them for my Arctis 9X, but they will fit most smaller boom mics as well. The install is simple too, you just slide the filter over the mic, then secure it with the band. Overall not a bad addition to any mic if you're looking to filter out wind noise.
