I used to sell outer wear for English Equestrians & their horses & dogs... I'm well versed in raincoats and this is a nice, well-thought out jacket. Refective strips, hidden buckles, sleek, light weight look. It's like a Lululemon coat for your dog. My 15 month old gets impatient-which translates into mouthy, so I really appreciate only having to get his head through an opening and then able to click the underbelly to each side. I did put the leg straps on initially--(loosened those after the pic) I don't do the leg straps just to go out to go potty. If we were hiking or something, I would do that, but just to keep him dry---nah. I loved the neck--it's long enough when he puts his head down to keep the top of his head dry. When his head is up, it just covers his neck. I didn't cinch it--he'd likely have lost his mind if I had done that but it works beautifully without cinching. Here in GA-it rains a lot. My guy didn't like going out in the rain--he would often stand under my umbrella and look at me--so I had to give him the umbrella... Now, this jacket is a game changer--We can both wear a raincoat and be comfy. The buckles on the sides are a bit hidden--which is most excellent for a mouthy, chewy, big puppy like my guy. Mine is 45 pounds of solid muscle and the 2XL (size chart recommended) was a perfect fit with just a bit more room to grow if need be. He is mostly pitty/staffordshire, with a bit of husky, GSH Aussie, Weimaraner, boxer, lab & chow... (quite the dna test results on our rescue). Anyway, if you are on the fence, you can rest assured this is a good quality jacket offering ease of movement and rain protection without the added bulk, or warmth. In the winter, I will use this over his normal fleece to keep them both dry.

I bought the 2xl as the size fits my whippet the best. It is still a but loose but it's a really good size for her neck and back as there are adjustable ties that shortens the back length and tightens around the neck/head to keep her dry. The clips underneath for the belly bit are also adjustable and there is a pocket/2 holes for a harness or collar but the one with buttons can be used to carry some things. This is coat log enough to cover her aides and bum to keep her very dry and she has had so many compliments on how lovely and convenient it looks. Especially from cocker spaniel owners (because they love the mud) 😂
