I love it. I know it sounds a bit strange to love a hose pipe attachment, but this is a proper made, solid brass, hefty nice piece of kit. Not plasticky or waffy. and won't hang around in a landfill for millions of years. It just feels quality. Haven't had a chance to use it yet, so Christ knows if it actually works as it should. However it does look very cool.

All brass. Nicely made. Fits a standard hose connector. Adjusts from OFF to almost a mist to a pencil jet whose power will depend entirely on your mains pressure, not on the nozzle. Simplicity itself. No knobs or triggers. Easy to turn on and adjust. Will not rupture in the cold weather or break if you drop it. Over the years I have tried a lot of these flashy plastic and so called metal (Zinc Alloy) gun type things that look like something out of Star Wars but they are without exception far eastern rubbish that are all style and no substance. They are actually consumable products. This Spear And Jackson Nozzle is vastly superior, not a lot of money and is actually fit for purpose.

I read through quite alot of the reviews before deciding to buy this some of them mentioned about the nozzle leaking well there is a continuous drip when closed but nothing that I would say would be worrying or a deal breaker, for my use it's absolutely fine, when I've closed the nossle I either intend to use it again quite soon or I will be shutting the water supply off, either way for me it's hardly worth mentioning. The nossle as stated in other reviews does seem sturdy and it is easy to use, I personally don't have a powerful water supply so if you do, I think you will get much more benefit than I, although my supply suits my needs. It is easy to fit on a hose if there is already a "hoselock" type connector attached as the nossle just clips into place and your ready to go. I would reccomend this for all types of hose work, in the garden, washing the car it can be adjusted to suit the job, for plants I would reccomend a fine spray rather than a jet as even with my gentle supply when the nossle is moved to a "jet flow" it can still be too much for flowers and plants so caution is advised. If you are looking for a new nossle well I would definitely give this a try.

Bought this to replace a lot of cheap plastic alternatives that didn't last. I have some garden shears from Spear & Jackson and they are great quality as well. This spray head may not have all the spray patterns, but it's heavy duty and the weight stops it flying around when the water is on. It also allows me to spray a good way down the garden. Thumbs up!

Extremely well made (solid brass) and seals properly with a bit of strength. Only downside is not to hit anything with it (e.g your car) as it may damage it. Hopefully will last - though I guess the weak point will be the rubber seal in the valve. Nonetheless, it won't ever be crushed as the last 2 plastic ones have been when stepped on or run over!
