The wood handle hammer as pictured is not the same as what I received? I received the same as the fiberglass version but with wood handle. The one I got is a USA version but I prefer the short English style. Amazon refunded the price and let me keep the hammer so will give it a try!The quality of the hammer is very good just not the style I ordered.

Very disappointed as the hammer I received isn’t as picturedAs a bricklayer and a collector I really wanted the Made in Englandversion with the coated head and short handle. The one I received isprobably made in China and of inferior quality. I’ll probably take it to workand thrash it a bit and see how it pulls up.

I brought this because it has a wooden handle. In my experience, metal and fibreglass handles still have a long way to go to be as kind to the wrist and hands as a wooden handle. I can use this all day long without jarring the joints of my arm. The head is nicely made too: sharp and well shaped to be easy to use.
