I needed a storage solution for Maker Forte color hive ink pads and decided to try this system. While these trays don't seem quite as sturdy as the ones I use from the same brand for my Copic marker storage, they work and really considering each box of trays has the capacity to store 18 ink pads, they are a decent value. I bought these because I didn't have the space for a tall tower, but rather needed to put these onto my Ikea Billy bookcase.Here are my finding as to what ink pads will fit and which will not:Neither the old style nor the newer style Stampin' Up pads fit into the spaces. They are too wide, as was my magnetic Close to My Heart ink pad. I put those big ones across the top in the photo so you can see that they will not fit into the ink pad spaces.Lots of pads, however, did fit! Ranger Distress Oxide, Altenew Crisp Dye Ink, Memento, Versafine Clair, Versafine with hinge lid, and Inkon3 all fit into the slots. Pinkfresh Studio and Taylored Expressions pads also fit and while they did hang out about 1/2 inch, they were still sturdy in the storage unit. The Maker Forte ink pad BARELY fits. It does take a little effort to push it into the space, as well as to pull it out. It's not a deal breaker for me so I'm keeping this storage solution for those ink pads.These trays are lightweight plastic and not as "nice" as other ink pad storage systems, but I think they are great since they fit into places where a taller (ie- 13.5"+) tower won't go.An update- The Maker Forte ink pads are just slightly too large. I have to really force them into place and when it's time to remove them, I have to pull hard enough to get them out that my trays pop out of their stacked form. I'm keeping this stamp storage system since it works well for many other stamps. I ended up having to buy a different storage solution for the Maker Forte pads.

I have several of these trays, which I've bought specifically for my Distress Inks and Oxides, as the smaller square shape didn't work with the wider trays I had. I am so happy with these for my Distress Ink collection. They work perfectly and stack easily together. They can be placed several wide and built up from there. I have quite a high stack and they're nice and stable and easy to use.
