I'm a size 6/8 and it's anyone's guess whether a size will be 'true', as there's zero standardisation. I found this crop top could really do with a clip at the back, as the elastic is so strong, I am fighting to get out of it. Also the length is too much for a small woman, with side boob hanging out as a consequence. A crop top made of decent fabric is welcome - few manufacturers seem to bother with them - and you can have any colour so long as it's black - but the sizing is no good for smaller 8s. Wouldn't buy again.

Nice material & compacts your torso somewhat (unless I opted for the wrong size - Ordered small as usually a small) which is pretty common in swimming costumes.Material is nice & is very gym/swim texture you'd expect to reduce drying times.Good coverage & no real issues apart from a little tighter than anticipated. Perhaps go for a size up to be safe.

Size chart doesn't correspond with sizes in the listing. This lists the Speedo sizes as 34, 36, 38 etc, but the actual top is listed as S, M, L etc. As a result, I had to guess the size and chose the large, which is the size that usually fits me for tops. This is fairly snug on me, and it takes some management to get it sitting comfortably without flesh spilling out at the sides. It does fit under the bust and isn't particularly uncomfortable, but there's not a lot of space in there for a more ample chest, and this does result in a bit of a "unibosom" effect that I don't find very flattering, so I feel I may have been better with an XL. The high front is very modest, which is a bonus.

I like it, it fits snug and dries well. Ideal if you want to sport swim in a two piece. I think it’s expensive for just one half of a set, but, it’s comfy, smart, dries quickly and is everything I would expect from it really.
