The thumb of the swimmer doesn't stick out from the glove (the other fingers do). Since the thumb of the glove is much too tight, this glove is worthless for a man with big hands. I had size L, not nearly big enough, alas.

I didn't notice that unlike previous Speedo gloves that I have owned that these lack the velcro strap that I am used to. I bought the large size but cannot navigate the wrist of the glove over my hand. I tried to wear them twice but found that the difficulty of putting them on was so onerous that I resorted back to my old gloves that these were to replace. Too bad for me because I spent my money on a product that cheaped out in its manufacture. Guess the maker saved some pennies on deleting the strap but we consumers lose out by spending money on a product that just doesn't work for us. Too bad.

I've had these before. Really quality item. For me, it's not to swim faster, although you do, it's to make me work harder in the water. Good for your pecs, your abs, your glutes and your inner core. Had my old ones about 6-8 year's & need to change them, great price, great value. Worth every penny.And for me, the best out there.
