I got this pretend vacuum cleaner for my almost 2 year old grandson, because he's just obsessed with my stick vacuum and he wants me to vacuum all the time. It's too heavy for him. When I saw this toy that looks EXACTLY like my stick vacuum (aside from being pink), I knew I had to get it. He loves it and it's the first toy he goes for when he comes to grandma's house. It's made of fairly good quality plastic, and the attachments fit simply and securely. It takes 4 AA batteries to make the music and noise. My one suggestion is that the switch should have some options, like motor-noise only, music only, music and motor, and lights only. You'd think toy manufacturers would have learned by now that many parents' sanity can be saved by opting out of the noise part of the toy. It's too bad this toy vacuum doesn't actually work because my grandson is more thorough than a Roomba.

My kids LOVE this. It's the most frequently fought over toy in our house right now. The 3 year old, the 1 year old...they both love it! I haven't even bothered putting batteries in it because I don't need one more noisy thing, but they don't know the difference and play with it EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.The one thing I wish were different is that the pieces separate VERY easily. It's by design so the kids can change out the attachments at will, but they also just fall apart when the kids DON'T want to change it out, so they have to come to mom to put it back together. I wish there were a button to disconnect them or something like that so that the pieces would stay together more firmly.
