Ook op korte ritten kan ik zien dat mijn telefoon in korte tijd flink is bijgeladen. Heb voorheen afgezworen om mijn telefoons draadloos te laden in de auto. Maar toch een kans gegeven met nieuwe Qi2 laden. Ik ben heel tevreden over het resultaat.

.I needed a reliable car mount for my iPhone, specifically one with flexible windscreen/dashboard mounting options (as my car's vents are unsuitable), fast charging, and strong MagSafe.In the past, I purchased and used magnetic mounts from well-known brands. Unfortunately, they all suffered from similar issues after a few weeks: either the adhesive lost its stickiness and the mount fell from the dash or window the arms broke , or the charging function stopped working altogether, or the MagSafe connection was too weak to hold the phone.A trusted friend recently mentioned that Spigen's quality has improved significantly and suggested I try them. I've owned a couple of Spigen products before, but I wouldn't say I've ever been a particular fan of the brand. Given my past frustrations with other mounts, I decided to take their advice.My search led me to the Spigen OneTap Pro 4, which met all my needs and seemed a good price—a little more expensive than some options I had seen, but not as expensive as one I'd owned before. So, I decided to give it a go.The Spigen OneTap Pro 4 arrived, the box contained the mount itself and a dashboard mounting pad.Installation was a breeze. I decided where to place the dashboard mounting pad, gave that area a wipe with a clean cloth (not supplied), and placed the dashboard mounting pad there. I left the pad overnight, and the next day placed the mount itself on it and left that for a few hours. Nothing could be easier.The mount boasts a sturdy metal frame, and the adjustable arms feel solid and tighten securely. Once positioned as desired, they hold that position very well. The MagSafe magnets are impressively strong, providing a secure hold on my iPhone, even when driving on bumpy and poorly maintained roads – neither the mount nor my phone has budged. I'm very impressed. The connection is strong both with my MagSafe case and when used caseless.This is advertised as a Qi2 charger, which I understand is supposed to offer 15W fast wireless charging.While I don't have the equipment to verify the exact wattage, I can say that when my phone is on the mount and charging, it charges noticeably fast. Unlike some charging mounts I've used in the past, which seemed to struggle to maintain a charge when I was actively using my phone, this Spigen mount continues to charge my iPhone effectively even while I'm using it. I haven't been on a long journey yet, as I mainly use my car to go back and forth from work or for quick trips shopping. I wanted to test how hot my device would get while charging and in use, so I put the device on charge and used the navigation. It didn't get hot at all. Also, as the mount has a retractable arm, if my device does get too warm, I can simply move the arm closer to my air vent, switch the air conditioning on, and the temperature starts to drop. Also, on a few hot days, when the device started to get too hot, I was able to move the arm outwards to remove it from the direct sunlight and stop the screen from overheating.The attached lead is a good length, around 3-4ft, which is plenty for my setup.The only minor point, which isn't worth docking a star for as it's clearly stated in the listing, is that it doesn't come with a USB-C car adapter or cigarette lighter charger. However, my existing 20W car adapter from another device works perfectly, and I've also had no issues using my car's built-in USB-C port. .I did notice a negative review mentioning issues with Android Auto. While I can't comment on that, I did try it with my Apple CarPlay and it didn't work wirelessly. After speaking with a local tech expert, I learned that while Apple CarPlay supports wireless connections, a simple Bluetooth connection isn't sufficient. Wireless CarPlay requires in-vehicle Wi-Fi and a built-in dual-band router – specialized hardware that my car doesn't have. Therefore, I suspect the lack of wireless CarPlay connectivity is due to my car's specifications, and potential buyers should check their vehicle's features if wireless CarPlay is a priority.Overall, after purchasing and using this Spigen OneTap Pro 4, I highly recommend it. In fact, I've been so impressed that I've just found a bought a Spigen case and a Spigen screen protector, and I'm hoping their quality matches this excellent car charger. While it's too early to assess long-term durability, the Spigen's robust construction gives me confidence that it will last. I will update this review in a few months with an assessment of its long-term performance.

Parfait, il faut le placer sur une surface relativement plane. Par exemple le pare-brise. Moi j’ai confectionné un support que j’ai mis à la place d’un vide poche du tableau de bord. La base en matériau semi rigide fourni est collée sur mon support et là dessus on place le support Spigen lui -même. Ça marche parfaitement. Je suis sûr qu’il ne bougera jamais hors d’ un très gros accident routier .
