Voor mijn retro streaming setup split ik VGA tussen een monitor en scanconverter/hdmi-capture tandem. Dus gewoon gamen op het VGA scherm van de retro PC en toch HD streamen. Dit deed ik dmv van een VGA splitter kabel. Maar toen ik de LCD monitor verving voor een klassieke CRT monitor, bleek het signaal te zwak (geen sync). Met deze splitter box die ik via usb ook voeding geef, is dat niet het geval en het signaal is kraak helder.

Que dire ces un adaptateur vga . mes de très bonne qualité , très bien emballé . il sort du 1080 p donc nickel le signal et vraiment bien envoyé directement .un boitier très solide . et en plus il y a 1 mètre de câble entre la prise vga et l adaptateur 2 vga . un super rapport qualité prix. merci

Este splitter funciona perfectamente y consigues sacar la imagen a dos monitores desde una única salida VGA. Solo hace eso, llevar la salida VGA a dos monitores. LA MISMA.A diferencia de otros que probé o compré, funciona perfectamente porque tiene una alimentación externa de corriente (micro USB) que permite subir los niveles de tensión para que los monitores acepten la señal.El cable de alimentación opcional NO viene incluido. Puede alimentarse desde una salida USB del ordenador, o a través de un transformador/cargador USB que tengas. Yo compré uno que va de maravilla y así mantengo todas las conexiones USB del PC libres.En otras marcas, el splitter solo divide la señal, bajando su rango. Eso hace que se produzcan cortes o que no se vea la imagen por falta de fuerza en la señal.El aspecto del producto es de primera calidad, y lo es.

Arrived exactly on time.Hooked up to my laptop to share signal to both a 24 inch monitor and 4K tv.I did NOT have to supply power to the box; it worked just hooking it up and the "BLUE" led on front of it lit up.Video quality is perfectly clear on both at 1920 X 1080 resolution.NOTE: I see reviews saying it works without providing external power AND reviews saying it needs a power source.Reason for these differences is as follows :>> On a standard 15 pin VGA connector, pin NINE is an 'optional' 5 VOLT DC output pin. NOT all vga outputs / adapters will actually provide this. IF it does, then NO adaptor needed; as long as you have ALL 15 pins on your source cable input to the box.Numerous vga cables actually do NOT have a pin 9, rather its blank ( missing pin )In my case, its connected to a DELL Inspiron 1545 laptop which DOES provide the 5V on pin 9; AND my source cable has ALL 15 pins intact.Having said that, it would be 'nice' if the manufacturer / seller provided a power cable to hook up the external 5V as many people will actually need it.

The product is in a high quality package with good connectors and a pleasing appearance. And it works.The device does contain a micro-USB connector (not a mini-USB connector as one reviewer said). This is the same connector as is used in smartphones, and if necessary a USB cable from the splitter to a smartphone charger or to your PC will power this device. However, there is some confusion as to whether a power connection is necessary.Note that neither the product description on Amazon nor the instructions on the splitter packaging mentions anything about USB, and no USB cable nor charger is supplied. But being an electrical engineer I knew that a product of this type would need power, so before I hooked it up I was prepared to supply power via a smartphone charger and USB cable. I was surprised to find, however, that the splitter worked without any connection to USB. How could this be? I wondered. I concluded that power must come from the VGA input cable, the one connected to the PC.I looked up VGA specifications and discovered that VGA connectors on old PCS did not supply power, but more recent VGA incarnations do supply 5 volt power on VGA connector pin 9. I concluded that the splitter is designed to take power from pin 9 of the VGA connector, but if the VGA connector does not have 5 volts on pin 9 a USB connection may be used to supply power instead. This is clever and explains why USB is not usually needed and why it is not mentioned, though it should be.Again, the product works as advertised and solves another problem some reviewers of other splitters mention. That is, shadowing (degraded sharpness) of the video on one or both of their video displays. Without going into the causes of shadowing, I will say that because the splitter is powered and is therefore able to create two wholly independent VGA outputs, shadowing is eliminated.Another advantage of this splitter is that no knob or push button is needed to select to which output the VGA signal from the PC will go. Both outputs work all the time. UGREEN did a nice job designing this product.
