I'm one of the people who were locked into an expensive ecosystem product prior to this one, and can confirm as others do that this fits normal UK-sized rolls, and doesn't have any propriety technology or weird plastic things required to fix the roll inside--you just put the cheapest roll you can find inside and it's good to go. The roll is loose inside, so the thicker the amount on it, the better.The quality is good for the price, looks nice, and the underside has three holes for attaching it to a wall, as well as screws to do so (the holes are upside-down keyhole style shapes, so you can "lift" it off of the screws whenever you like for better access). It also comes with rubber pads to attach to the underside if you're placing it in a drawer or on a counter.The only downside is that the "sliding" door on the side is no such thing, it's a piece of wood that feels like it slides in (due to it fitting into a recess) but has no rails--it's actually attached by two small magnets when slid in the whole way (and only on the top side). You can in fact just place it flat against the opening without any sliding required and the magnets will hold it closed. This means that if you're moving it around, there is a possibility that this door will come off if tilted with the weight of the rolls against it (this happened while I was moving it with rolls inside), and also maybe there are some questions about the magnets power dropping over time, but I'm not a physicist. It would probably feel more secure if it had magnets on both the top and bottom.Despite that criticism, it feels like a minor issue that will not affect you once aware of this weak point, either because you'll hold your hand over it you prevent it from happening while moving it around, or if you're using the dispenser in a fixed location (on a wall, in a drawer or a counter top) it'll never bother you.The sliding cutter is very reliable when the film is held under a little tension, and while it doesn't have a lid to hold the end of the cling film in place like a slam-closed cutter, you can just pull the roll a little more once cut, in order to have a protruding piece to grab onto next time (otherwise you might be rummaging around inside for a moment if it rolls back on itself).On balance, it's a very good product, less ugly than the plastic closed-ecosystem devices, and you'll recover the cost in no time if you go through a lot of rolls. It seems robust enough to last a long time. Visually, it has really tidied up the look of my drawers, and looks especially nice if you have a similar coloured bamboo cutlery organiser.

Good quality dispenser one of the few on Amazon that will take the standard size cling film rolls we have in the UK. Most will only take up to 12" rolls but the Spoccolife dispenser will fit the 13" rolls we have here.Easy to use and cuts both cling film and foil wrap. The only downside is the side cover which you open to fit new rolls in can come loose, it's only held in place with some small magnets. But all in all it makes dispensing cling film a lot easier.

Excellent kitchen gadget. Both Foil and Cling Film fit perfectly into the box. So simple to use.

Does the job , sturdy.

Had to adapt a bit and used on wall/side of kitchen unit. The dispenser is large and magnets weak on closing bit. The cutting isnt great - many times you have to go twice . Build quality is poor
