This is nice, it allows one to sit down on the ground and keep the seat of your pants clean. Folds in 4ths.

I got these to use for winter hiking to have something to isolate my backside from whatever I am sitting on while taking a break. When unfolded, the overall size is a bit larger than I think is necessary, but they would be a good size if placed in a camping chair. They are very thin. Folded up, it is a bit thick for storing easily in or on a backpack. Weight-wise, it's a bit heavier than I would like. I prefer the quad-fold foam sit pads for hiking as they are smaller, lighter and easier to store, but this would be a good choice for car camping and using in a chair.
