Now here we have a really well designed and practical set of adjustable weight dumbbells. Each dumbbell can be adjusted to offer the following weight combinations; 2kg (1kg x 2), 3kg (1.5kg x 2), 4kg (2kg x 2) or 5kg (2.5kg x 2). The adjustments can be made quickly and simply by sliding on one or more of the additional weighted discs. Each disc clicks in and secures into place using a guided track, and can be released and removed again simply by pressing the retaining clip on each section and reversing the procedure of sliding it back off. I was initially worried that the retaining clips might not be strong enough to hold the weight in confidently in place, or the quality wouldn't be robust enough to last, but I have to eat some humble pie here, as neither of my concerns proved to be founded. The versatility this quick change method offers means that you can easily alternate between weights depending on the activity or exercise you are doing. It also means you can do away with the need to store multiple different weights. Once you have finished your workout, simply slot all elements together and store just the two heavier weights together thus saving space. Practical and absolute genuis in my personal opinion.The dumbbells have been manufactured from high quality ABS plastics and feel highly rugged and durable. I easily foresee these lasting a very long time to come with good care. I can find absolutely nothing to fault or dislike about these at all and would be more than happy to recommend these to anyone and everyone. Simply brilliant!

The only reason I don't give this 5 stars, is that I wish it came with a carry case, or something to store everything in. Yes I can attach all the weights to then have 2 dumbbells, but I don't want to do that each time when all I'm doing is using the lower weights. Or on the flip-side, if I go to Pilates, somewhere put these so it's not in the way or so I don't lose and possibly damage them.That aside, wow! I love it.Such a clever design. Easy to add or remove the weights. They're on there, snug as a bun so won't fall.Clearly labelled too.This is a must have!

You get a box with the handles and extra clip on weights (you have middle sections and end bits), that assemble easily (just push down a plastic clip, and slide the section in, release the clip).They work fine for static or slow exercises, but of course being super light, are more targetted at absolute beginner, small people or folk rehabbing. And don't try to do any dynamic moves with these, the clips are not that strong and the discs threaten to release each time.So decent if you're just starting out but quite limited. you'd be way better off getting some basic handles and iron weight plates, plenty of started kits at that price point
