Quality of the compass could be better, its quite flimsy and simply designed. However made of metal and no problem. Overall its good, but not ideal if you have more money to spend.

Bought this set in store today thinking the compass would at least be of equal quality as the loose Staedtler compass I picked up for 1.99.Boy was I wrong… tiny utensils of dubious quality. Will never buy a Staedtler product ever again… I feel robbed, and would have returned when bought from Amazon.

My wife actually bought this set for her crafting and loves it. She says it’s a perfect little set that suits her needs. Surprisingly good quality for the price and the tin case keeps it all together along with a few other bits she keeps in. Definitely recommend.
