Works a bit better in my sound environment at removing plosives and other unwanted mouth sounds than a foam windscreen on my Shure SM58 mic. Not too compressed in shipping, added a standard sized Bic lighter for size comparison.The quality is great, feels soft and I didn't notice any of the little microhairs coming off as I pulled at them. There is a little cloth tab on the elastic band that helps with putting it on a mic, try not to catch any of the hairs when you're doing that or some will naturally be pulled out. It is a bit loose on the mic I have.I took some other reviewer's advice and put this over a foam windscreen on my mic. That works better than either foam or this alone at removing those unwanted mouth sounds. It did not sound like I was "behind some material" as I read from some other people, very clear audio.

This microphone cover worked exactly as expected when I had an outdoor wedding with wind. It’s super easy to use (just slip it on top of the microphone and that’s it!). Sound quality was great and even when it was VERY windy, it barely picked up any wind noise. I HIGHLY recommend
