I bought this extension to upgrade my setup. I had a stand from PROEL bought probably 15 years ago.The diameter was exactly the same, meaning that they were incompatible.I went to a diy store and bought steel cylinders (25mm diameter) and put them inside of both the stand and the extension. I drilled an hole in both and put a screw (like in the picture) that holds them together. Overall the stability is perfect! I owe a cobalt8x that weights 8kg

Works well. I bought this expecting it to fit another stand but didn’t. So I purchased a 25mm electrical cable plastic barrier pipe and cut it to length. It fits inside my current stand and inside these arms and they screw on to it. Pipe was 1.45 for a 3m length from screwfix and ensure these stand arms work for my purpose. Like I said, my mistake buying the wrong ones but if you do a little DIY they will fit other stands.
