Degelijk en simpel. Werkt goed

For the new workbench have been looking into numerous vices. Always like the multiple axled ones but those were expensive and bulky.Found this one and it was just right. The clamp fits a large counterworktop easily. The positions it can be maneuvered into are endless. The rubber grips are great. Only one thing that could be better is the rod to tighten is a bit short. Can be taken care of easily but if Stanley did it, it would have been even better. Glad I waited as the quality, versatility and price of this one are the best.

Was underwhelmed by the packaging..not meant for shipping. Has only limited damage but could imagine it might be worse if the shipper is not gentle. Device is part aloy part cast. Mostly smooth operation but for the price you can't complain.

Did not know how much I needed this and now it's permanently fixed to my desk. Wish there was a larger size though.

Mi serviva una morsa che potesse ruotare a 360° ed in tutte le angolazioni e questa è davvero ottima e progettata bene! Io l'ho comprata perchè la uso come morsa per la costruzione di coltelli artigianali, nello specifico per fare rifinizione dei manici. E' comodissima perchè posso adattarla in base alle mie esigenze e angolazioni. Nella scatola sono disponibili anche dei copri ganasce in silicone, in modo che durante il serraggio, la zigrinatura della morsa non vada ad intaccare il pezzo che si sta lavorando. Nel complesso è molto robusta e si vede che è professionale, non saprei però come si può comportare con lavori pesanti tipo di carpenteria, edilizia ecc.. Per lavori di rifinizione come nel mio caso è davvero eccellente.Sono super soddisfatto!

This vise is very nice for the price, it's very smell but very sturdy with a solid design.First glance: I noticed the ball joint, threaded rod, and guide pins were quite dry with a very light machine oil applied so I disassembled the unit degreased it then liberally coated the metal on metal contact points, the ball joint, the threaded rods, and the guide pins with moly grease:1. Unscrewing the threaded rod all the way releases the front jaw half.2. Using a size 2 slotted screwdriver you can gently pry the circlip from the threaded rod shaft which releases the threaded rod from the jaw assembly.3. Unscrewing the smaller spring/washer retained bolt and the two larger phillips screws frees the ball joint clamp assembly.There is no bushing or bearing to take the load of the guide pins so i filled the jaw half cavities with moly grease and after assembling the unit i wiped off all the excess that built up and degreased the jaw halfs so now the unit is built more accordingly to last a lot longer.I'm looking into designing some bushings and guide pin bearings to print with my 3d printer to see if i can make the jaws stay aligned and not wobble.Overall its a great vise and i've needed a vise for decades but dont have a proper solid table that would be suited for bolting a big solid vise, this is a hobby vise that is mobile and is perfect for my airsoft gunsmithing.5/5 would recommend to anyone, I'd also suggest mirroring my actions to degrease clean and grease the unit with a proper grease designed for metal on metal contact that will reduce wear ultimately prolonging the longevity of the vice, I know it's only £22 but a bit of rust or uneven wear or galling would ruin things quickly.

dieser kleine "Schraubstock" dient mir als "dritte Hand" und zum Fixieren kleinerer Werkstücke.Nach dem Auspacken etwas Maschinenfett auf die Gewindestangen und einmal ganz zu- und wieder aufgedreht - dann hat sich das Fett gut verteilt und die Gewindestangen laufen weich.Mittels der Tischbefestigung ist das Teil schnell da, wo es gebraucht wird, angebracht (festgeschraubt), wobei man lediglich durch die Spannöffnung der Klemmzwinge hinsichtlich der Dicke der Tischplatte (o.ä.) limitiert ist.Entgegen meiner ersten Befürchtung, dass die Fixierung des Kugelgelenks nicht wirklich hält, muss ich sagen, dass -wenn man die Klemmvorrichtung ordentlich festzieht- der Aufbau mit den Spannbacken tatsächlich fixiert bleibt. Ist nun kein Ersatz für einen "richtigen" Schraubstock oder eine Vorderzange (am Hobeltisch), aber für kleinere und insbesondere mobile Arbeiten geeignet. Insbesondere finde ich die 3-D Beweglichkeit (dank des Kugelgelenks) des Spannbacken-Aufbaus sehr hilfreich - Werkstück einspannen, gewünschte Position einstellen und den Kugelgelenk fixieren - fertig.Ich bin zufrieden damit - daher von mir volle 5 Sterne.

Dobrze wykonane imadło, zapewniające stabilizację obrabianego przedmiotu. Wystarczająco szeroki rozstaw szczęk, super opcja pracy pod dowolnym kątem. No i ładne to jest. Da się przykrecić wszędzie. Polecam.
