Leider - für ein STANLEY Produkt unerwartet schlechte Qualität!Der Griff ist aus Kunststoff, alle Metallflächen sind beschichtet - für die Werkzeugkiste also ideal , so sollte man denken. Aber leider weit gefehlt, das Gewinde war so schlecht geschnitten, dass der Feststellhebel nur mit einer Zange zu bewegen war, der Schlitz im Griff hatte Kanten und Unebenheiten. Nach insgesamt 1h Nacharbeit war dann die Funktionalität Akzeptabel. Mein Sohn hat sich dann darüber gefreut. Für ein PROFI -Gerät muss man dann wohl doch so um die 50,- EUR ausgeben zb eine Schmiege von VERITAS.Für diesen Artikel würde ich den Wert nicht höher als 5,- EUR ansetzen.

Does exactly what it's supposed to. The construction is basic and practical in line with the price but is good value. Operation is good, the blade swivels and slides well but more importantly it locks positively in place with the thumb screw. No issues about recommending this tool.

A well made adjustable bevel, so typical of quality firm Stanley.Not a particularly difficult tool to use, and is certainly smooth and robust enough for most measuring jobs.The only gripe however, is the positioning of the chrome lever to tighten the blade for accurate measuring.For whatever reason Stanley (like so many companies these days) believe putting the lever at the apex of the bevel is a good idea, when in practical terms it is nothing more than a hindrance, as mor often than not it just gets in the way when you're trying to rest the bevel flat against two surfaces at a particular angle.I seem to remember by father owing a bevel that could be tightened using a thumbscrew at the foot of the wooden handle of the bevel, thus making for easy & accurate measuring. So what happened? Why the sudden change to move the lever to the apex? Or am I quite literally getting the wrong end of the stick?Apart from that gripe, I do like this bevel: it does a job, but only in some positions unfortunately8/10
