I am gifting this doormat to my son, a true May 4th birthday, "May the 4th be with you!" for his new apartment. It arrived earlier than expected in excellent condition. It is a good solid mat. Not thin at all. The artwork is done well with a cute Yoda saying. He won't be getting this gift for another 3 weeks, so unfortunately, I can't rate the wear and tear, and weather factor, but it looks of good quality and feel pretty good about it lasting a while.
