De PEX2S5531P 2S1P PCI Express-kaart verandert een PCI Express-sleuf in twee RS232 (DB9) seriële poorten en één parallelle poort. De adapterkaart is voorzien van een native PCI Express single-chip-ontwerp waarmee u kunt profiteren van volledige PCI Express-mogelijkheid, waardoor verbeterde snelheid en betrouwbaarheid wordt geboden en de belasting die op de CPU wordt toegepast met maar liefst 48 procent ten opzichte van conventionele seriële kaarten die gebruik maken van een bridge chipontwerp.

Compatibel met een breed scala aan besturingssystemen, waaronder Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista/Windows 7/Server 2008 R2 (32 en 64-bit), Linux Kernel 2.6.11 en hoger en MAC OS 10.4, deze 2-poorts Seriële 1 Port Parallelle PCI-Express Card beschikt ook over een optioneel laag profile/halve hoogte beugel die de kaart mogelijk maakt te installeren in vrijwel elke computerbehuizing, ongeacht de behuizing vormfactor.

Alle Funktionen wie früher bei im PC integrierte Schnittstellen: bidirektional, sodass auch Dongel voll funktionieren (bei mir unter W7 64 bit prof.)

Installed on Windows 10 system, using motherboard Intel Desktop Motherboard LGA1155 DDR3 1600 ATX - BOXDZ77GA-70K. I couldn't get it to work at first, but after reading the reviews, found a reviewer who went to the Startech website and downloaded the drivers from there. You must reboot even after you see the COM ports assigned. Also, ensure the parallel port cable is installed with the red line opposite to as shown on the picture. I haven't used the ports yet, but will do soon.

If you're buying this to use with some antiquated software that needs a com port then this won't do.I had an old pc running windows 95 to run an old machine, I wanted to replace the pc, so planned to run virtual box on win 11 and pass this com port through to the virtual machine, sadly though it doesn't work that way, it's too do with a real com port uses an irq address whereas this doesn't, it's affectively a virtual port.In the end I found a hp pc with a com port built in and that worked.

Comprata per cliente che ha sostituito un server (senza seriali ne parallele). Installata con Centos 7 e tutto funzionante senza nessuna particolare configurazione. Al massimo ( per i ttyS ) si risolve con setserial o stty. Provate sia le seriali che la parallela con stampanti e tutto bene.

Très pratique pour retrouver 2 ports série et 1 parallèle quand il n'en existe plus avec les ordi.Et ça marche.
