Utilité: transfert de VHS au pc (via un lecteur VHS avec sortie HDMI).Après pas mal de manipulations, j'y suis enfin arrivé.Attention, il m'a fallu utiliser un splitter HDMI pour séparer l'image et le son (HDMI out et Toslink out) afin de bypasser le HDCP. Il vous faut une entree toslink du coup. Je précise, ce sont des vidéos souvenirs mais le lecteur bloque quand même. Prévoyez 50-60eur pour ce splitter.Mais ça fonctionne nickel avec OBS (gratuit).

The product descriptio says it works with OBS. I figured since that is what I'm using, we should be good to go. No.1. No video captured in OBS at all. No settings in properties at all.2. Use requires unpluggin the HDMI output from PC, so how am I to interact with what Iam recording? No HDMI output from StarTech.Back it goes.

I fully expect it not to break copy protection and digitise HDCP video, but it won't digitise ANYTHING from a Mac, even my own content which I KNOW does not have HDCP because I produce training videos.A poor result for a 200 GBP product.I fully expect it NOT to digitise protected sources (Netflix, Amazon Prime) but it won't even digitise Mac video that's NOT copy protected.
