I got this so I could connect my second monitor to my new CPU. The old cable was iffy and wasn't connecting reliably. Once I got it, I realized the cable wasn't the right size (not enough holes/pins). So I will keep it and put it aside for later. I can probably find an adapter for it.It's sturdy and came quickly.It's a lot shorter than I need, and I made the mistake on the pins/holes count. I collect cables//cords though, so I'll keep it and see if I can use it somewhere else.7/10 would recommend.

Vixen WirelessUnitと言う赤道儀のコントローラユニットを、赤道儀から少しだけ離して取りつけたくて、短いD-Sub 9pinストレートケーブルを探していて本製品を見つけました。（30cmくらいの長さでも良いのですが、そんなのはなかなか売られていないので、そうなると部品を買って自作した方が早い気がします）大半の製品が、ケーブルが太くて扱いにくいのですが、本製品は少し細めのケーブルで多少なりとも柔軟性良好のようです。高速通信や大電流が必要なわけではないので、何の問題もなく使えます。

The 0.5m version works perfectly on the Logitech G29 racing wheel, no more plugging in cables under the wheel and twisting them to the front which was causing wear on the original pedal cables. Ordered a second one for the gear shifter. The only thing is the cable (jacket) is a lot thicker and will not fit into the cable holder slots under the wheel, also the screws are not necessary but they can easily be removed by hand. Other than that it is just plug and play. My order was shipped from and sold by Yachew LTD, the specs on the packaging shows it to be a straight through serial cable 1.65ft. DB9 M/F.
