After accidentally melting the stock knob that came on a Cuisinart dutch oven, I decided to replace it with this one. I primarily use a dutch oven to bake bread at 500ºF, and this knob withstood that temperature without issue. It should last for a long time.Note: it did not come with a screw, which wasn't an issue as I was replacing the warped one, but thought it should be pointed out in case someone was wanting to replace both pieces.

The snail knob was the perfect addition to my gorgeous French Staub Cocotte. It’s pretty heavy and is really easy to grip the lid firmly. One thousand percent happy with this purchase.

This really is a lovely knob. You really can’t beat a nice knob. It’s looks lovely on the lid. Very pleased with it.
