STAUB Keramische ovenschaal, rechthoekig, 19 x 15 cm, rustiek turquoise

This dish may not be very big, but it is cute and big enough to make a side dish that would serve around 4 people. The first thing I made in it was a cauliflower gratin and it was able to hold all of a smaller head of cauliflower with the cheese sauce. Have also roasted carrots in it and they turned out nicely caramelized and tasty. It is hard to stir things around when it is full of food so I would avoid making things that require taking it out to stir during cooking. I love that the color exactly matches the Staub round cocotte that I have. My one issue with the dish is that it seems to be a little more difficult to clean than others. I have to really rub it good to get any browned stains off, and sometimes I find when I go to dry it off that it isn't as clean as I thought. So I just scrub it a little more.

I thought I was going to get to use this cassrole dish for Christmas dinner for baked greenbean dish. WRONG It is soooooo small I'm going to be using it for oilives on the Christmas table. IT'S A JOKE AND COST A LOT.
