Love staub! This is good for melting chocolate, fondue, butter, etc. I use it a lot for when I need to heat up something small or quick for a sauce or for baking needs. However, the ones I got did arrive with some dings. But other than cosmetic problems, they were fine. Staub is my favorite cookware. I am also going to use this for chicken pot pies, shepard's pies, french onion soups, etc.

This is the pot I wanted but it arrived WITHOUT the lid. I have a kitchen with many Staub items, and the photo here is accurate, but it is a disappointment as the lid described on the box is missing.
