My daughter wanted to try these as the style appeals to her. Opening the packet was a surprise at how small the packet was. Vacuum packed for bulk shipping into something measuring about 8 x 6 in a less than an inch thick plastic pack, giving the immediate impression that these are indeed very lightweight - and so it was.The manufacturing is pretty good.They're just a single layer of mostly nylon and she says that though they are a good stylish fit they are not comfortable against her skin. Certainly not something to wear on their own in less than hot weather and even then maybe not. More suitable as over trousers.Supposedly water resistant but not waterproof as you can get on other over trouser makes.Given that they are listed at £32.99 as we review them, we think this is way overpriced for such a thin nylon item.

The trousers arrived vacuum packed in a little plastic bag so flat it was hard to imagine they could actually be trousers. Once released from the plastic packaging though they soon fluffed up and are actually nice straight legged walking trousers . Manufacturing quality is reasonably good, not the best but certainly good enough for walking through the countryside on a summer day. They're are good loose fit and the drawstring is easy to adjust to get a perfect fitting for the individual.At £30 they're not what you would call cheap Boo bear OK for the price . That's certainly cheaper than some of the more expensive trousers you'll see in your average walking and camping shop.

These are nice, thin trousers that would be good for outdoor wear when the weather is warmer. My wife would probably still wear leggings or something underneath though. Good for mud protection or for nettles when walking in brambly areas but not waterproof enough to wear in pouring rain, fine for showers. I wouldn’t describe them as all year trousers but definitely would get used a lot if you walk dogs or hike. Fairly small sizing. Reasonably pricey at £30.

Comfortable and kept my legs dry when I was out for a walk. I like that they have an adjustable waistband and pockets. Good quality for the money.

On the plus side - these are super lightweight trousers with a soft and slightly stretchy fabric which is lovely next to the skin and would be very good for travel as they pack up so conveniently. The S is equivalent to an 8-10 UK in my opinion and I do like the style. The downside is they are very long for me (5'4") and hang off my feet as they are; and although the gathered hem is handy for size adjustment, the drawstring just hangs around your feet and would trip you up without care. For someone a couple of inches taller though they'd be ideal for summer walks.
