The StealthMounts Hive tool wall mounting system is, at its core, a concept with merit: get your tools off the bench and onto the wall. It's a simple idea, executed in a material that feels like it’s been chosen more for its price point than its performance.ABS plastic. A noble effort, but ABS is relatively soft, particularly when it's got hardened steel being dropped into it on a regular basis. I subjected one of the pieces to a rigorous examination with a knife, and I can confirm that there’s no hidden layer of magic, no glass-fibre or glass-ball reinforcement to give it some backbone. Now, I’m not expecting this thing to stop a train, but it will be bearing the weight of tools, which can be surprisingly hefty, especially if you’re dealing with older, denser models. A weight rating would be appreciated. Overloading one of these brackets could be as graceful as a dying star. The tool holder itself is beefy enough. It’s the interface with the bracket that worries me. It’s like trying to balance a bowling ball on a wine glass. The holder might be sturdy, but the base it’s sitting on is a different story.I appreciate the lack of included screws. Most of the time, they’re just filler, soft metal rods that strip faster than a politician’s promises. But it does mean you’ll need to have your own hardware ready. The hole spacing is a head-scratcher. 77mm between the mounting holes, and if you want to put two side-by-side, it’s 96mm. with a lot of post-war cabinetry being based on a 32mm system, I understand the width of the mounts, but 77mm on the screws seems a bit oddball.

This review is for "Stealthmounts Wall Hive System Triple Holder | 6 Pack | Mounts for Tools Storage."These tool mounts are made from high quality ABS plastic which feels extremely strong. There are a variety of different fittings available, and this pack provides six of the triple-holed holders. It is easy to fit them to a wall or backboard, just make sure your screw heads dont stick out too far as they may obstruct the attachment of the tool holder to the bracket. Having six separate holders makes it easy to provide a custom designed layout for your tools - either next to each other in a row, or placed at different levels. I found each holder fits three or four pliers or cutting tools, or a single hammer or pipe-wrench.It is nice to see that these are made in the UK, however just like many imported products, they have managed to spell their instructions incorrectly (load baring capacity, sic). The price at the time of review was around £18, which is £3 for each separate mount. This can be an expensive way to kit out a tool storage if you need lots of different types of mount - I think it would be useful for the seller to provide a mixed pack as well as the packs of six identical mounts. I rate it five stars as it is a high quality product that does the job and will last a very long time.
