I am using multiple light from this series in the home version. One of them broke just outside of the warranty period. The plastic screen in front of the LEDs did fall off exposing the LED to the elements and letting water in. This seems to be a general problem as one of my neighbors has the same issue. I once recommended these lights to him and are a little embarrassed now.Other than that I was always very happy with the lights. I am using multiple of them in combination with separate movement sensors also from Steinel. A key feature was that, with a 4th wire in the cable you could connect multiple lights and sensors in a way that when one of the sensors detect movement, all lights are activated. These is also a switch connected to to this extra wire allowing to manually switch the lights on regardless of the sensors.Now I wanted to replace the broken light and ordered the same one again from the home series. At least I thought they were the same. However, the feature to connect with the extra wire was removed. I guess Steinel wants to sell the wireless connection version instead. After contacting Steinel support I was informed that the pro version still has the wired control feature. So I ordered that one and could finally replace the broken light.The pro version is significantly more expensive. Next to support for the wired connection, the pro version is slightly brighter and has a 360 degrees movement sensor that does not need to be pointed into a particular direction. That seems to be the main difference compared to the home version. I also do not care too much for 3000K color. I would have preferred something less yellow, such as 4000K or above. But this is minor for me and I understand that many people seem to prefer more yellow lights.

Der Strahler war super zu montieren, ein wenig begeistert war ich von der Version der Stecker-Lüsterklemme. So konnte man in Ruhe die Wandhalterund montieren und das Kabel anschließen, danach Stecker rein, Leuchmittel eingehangen, fixierschraube rein und fertig. 10/10 PunkteDie Anleitung war soweit in Ordnung und von den dutzenden Verbrauchern die während der kompletten Renovierung des Hauses gekauft wurden im oberen Drittel. 7/10 PunkteFür seine 20 W / ca. 2000 lm bin ich mit der Helligkeit sehr zufrieden, er muss nur einen Außenbereich von ca. 14 m² ausleuchten, ich habe das Leuchtmittel horizontal abgeklappt und es macht was es soll. 10/10 PunkteDen Slave Anschluss für weitere Leuchten über einen Bewegungsmelder finde ich ganz nett, mal gucken ob der irgendwann zum Einsatz kommt. Die Abdeckblenden um den Erfassungsbereich des Sensor einzugrenzen werden ggf. noch zum Einsatz kommen (diese waren auch nicht bei allen unseren Lampen dabei).Haltbarkeit, noch unbekannt, habe wiederholt gelesen, das manche nach 2 Jahren defekt waren -> 5 Jahre Garantie, ich bin gespannt x/10 PunkteKundenservice, noch nicht in Anspruch genommen y/10 Punkte
