Steiner Verrekijker zwemgordel robuust, 4040

Before purchasing this floating strap I had seen queries as to whether the floating strap will actually support the binoculars in water - well I tested my Steiner Commander IIIs in (fresh) water with the strap fitted and they do.I think they make a very good investment, given the cost of replacing your binoculars if you did happen to drop them in the drink!

Ich hatte einen Schwimmgurt für mein Fernglas Steiner Navigator mit Kompass Baujahr 2008 gesucht. Das gestaltete sich deshalb schwierig, weil die neueren Modelle offenbar einen Clipverschluss haben. Tatsächlich ließ sich dann aber dieser Gurt (ohne Clip) perfekt an meinem Fernglas anbringen, obgleich es eine andere Teilenummer hat als diejenige, die mir von Steiner genannt wurde. Der Gurt trägt sich angenehm, da er am Hals breiter ist als der dünne, nicht schwimmfähige Tragegurt. Gurte anderer Marken sind teils erheblich preiswerter, es lohnt sich aber das Original von Steiner zu erwerben.

Excellent quality. Reasonably comfortable for the type of strap. I was lucky enough to find a used one on Amazon. I don't think the new ones are worth $100.00 plus just to have the Steiner name on it.

Excellent strap, stronger than the Nikon strap I'm replacing.
