Needed this to fix the starter motor on my ride on mower. Worked well although I had problems getting the old bit off.

I have ordered this part before and every time It is just right. Tractor is 25 years old and the starter gear wears out on average every 2 years or so. Its a relatively easy fix after the starter is removed. Toughest part is getting the locking ring mounted on the shaft. Mostly a pain in the butt because the locking ring is so close to the rotor shaft diameter. Look in the comments section and follow the suggestion to use a 3/8" socket (1/4" drive with a thin wall works best) as a tool to set the ring in place.Delivery was quick, arrived in less than a week and a couple of days early. Packaged well and printed instruction are very clear.

this was a replacement starter drive for our lawn tractors starter ,, arrived very quickly,, and top quality parts plus instructions in package on how to reassemble properly ,, very nice touch as some replacement parts kits do not include instructions which can make it a bit troublesome for some garage mechanics ,, bonus all around ,, arrived as i said very quickly so was able to reassemble the starter and the down time was minimal ,, cheers
