I had an old string trimmer on wheels, and the cable had rusted to the point it wouldn't slide. This cable fit perfectly, slides smoothly, and otherwise just sits where I put it. In other words, it does what I bought it to do.

I didn't know if it would work because I could not find the correct length. The closest measurement was about three inches longer than the original part. I ordered it anyway and found out after the fact that this company supplies this part across many different makes and brand names of lawnmower companies. This part worked just perfect on my Murray walk behind mower model #- M 22450 made in 2012.
