I upgraded my ender 3 with a trianglelabs titan aero clone, and used the stock ender 3 extruder stepper for a month or two but ended up wanting to try a pancake stepper to reduce ghosting. I wanted a .9 degree stepper like the official version but there aren't a lot of options for 400 step nema 17 pancake motors, so I picked up one of these to avoid 2+ week shipping from China.It works great so far! Even when running at the max of 1200mA I can make it stall with finger pressure on the large gear but due to the gear ratio I haven't had any issues with filament causing missed steps. I haven't pushed it super hard yet but so far it's keeping up with a volcano hot end and .8mm nozzle.Overall the quality seems the same as every other NEMA stepper I've encountered, not sure how this one has 3 stars.Edit: I ran this all afternoon with 1200ma drive current pushing 26 mm^3/s (.52mm x 1.0mm x 50mm/s) without any major issues, it hits ~50C peak and will miss steps at speed if tension is too high but the same is true for the original Titan motors.

Works great as an extruder driver for my 3d printer. The size is perfect and, with proper gearing, the torque is adequate. I attached this to an E3D Titan Extruder on my modified Fusematic printer from MakersToolWorks. The shaft is a little short in this application as the filament tensioner hangs off the end by about 2mm but it is working just fine so far. The lighter weight of this allowed me to convert my printer from a bowden drive to a direct drive and I'm achieving much better prints. I lost a little print volume due to the modification for my specific printer but it is still great.
