Tür klemmt, Schloss geht sehr schwer. Für den Preis okay. Ist für uns allerdings nur eine Zwischenlösung bis unser richtiger Briefkasten fertig ist.

Due to a house fire I had to move out and couldn't enter the property until it was renovated. I therefore thought a wall mounted letter box was a simple solution to get my mail. This one was one of the cheapest and it does fill a need however; I have realised that when 3 or 4 letters are in the box then the locking mechanism gets blocked and you cant unlock it. It was at this point I realised just how easy it was to open the top flap and put my hand in and take them out from the top. Most of the time this isn't going to be an issue but it does negate the need of a locking door and obviously a better designed box wouldn't get blocked so easily. It looks good though and it is pretty cheap so more than adequate for what I need.

Hi,This item was put up around september, and have always had troulbe with keys but eventually could unlock/lock. I am now unable to get the key into the keyhole. the key seems to have serated on the edges and can't get the key out of the lock, once it's in. I now have post locked in the box, that's been there since before xmas. I fear the quality of the metal of the keys is too soft and the locking mechanism is very weak.I would like a refund, as for only being installed for around 4 months, it should be more sturdy for an outside item.I look forward to hearing from you.
