Good solid plastic, lightens to grey with age.

I know nothing about plants, so after I moved into a new house and was given some plants as presents it wasn't long until they were on the edge of death. I was recommended to buy these saucers and put the plants on top, so that when filled with water they could drink from the bottom in order to better establish themselves. It worked perfectly, and now I some healthy plants instead of dead ones. A great cheap solution!

My what a struggle I had buying a saucer for a large plant pot. Check your diameters and make sure the diameter given is either the base or the rim because if they taper you might struggle like I did. But nice material and strong.
